SubscribeThe DanceSport Alberta annual Showcase Fundraiser is being held on March 13 in Edmonton at the St John's Centre. The fundraiser is DSAB's only avenue for collecting funds to run Edmonton's one and only competition the Northern Lights Classic. We would not be able to offer scholarships to competitors or offer the ticket... prices that we do...now $15 cheaper than any other Alberta competition without these funds.
The evening will include two fantastic Ballroom Dance Showcases featuring local amateur competitive dancers demonstrating dances such as Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep in the Standard showcase and Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive in the Latin showcase. This year will once again include several juvenile and junior couples in both showcases from the very popular Kids Club of Edmonton. There will also be a silent auction containing great items donated by local sponsors, door prizes, lots of social dancing and a delicious late night snack from none other than "Chef" Kevin Skoko.
