Northern Lights Classic - Status Update

Dear Dancers and DanceSport Enthusiasts,

We are pleased to announce that the Northern Lights Classic competition will continue to run! The Save
the NLC Working Group received approval from the DSAB board based on our submitted proposal.

Due to the shortened timeline to run the competition in its regular timeslot this year, we have opted
to delay the event several months and hold it on January 29 & 30 of 2011. This will be the first of
what we hope will be many more NLC events to run on this date. The event will continue to be held in
Edmonton, Alberta at the venerable Polish Hall!

As we proceed with the planning of this event, we will be relying heavily on the dancing community
from competitors and dancing enthusiasts to friends and family to make this event happen. Without
you all, this event will not be able to run at all.

So please stay tuned as we organize and put our plans into place such that we can continue to
host a top notch competition that delights audiences and continues to inspire the young dancers!
